I’m an ESL teacher in Oregon. Working with both elementary students and adults, I see a pattern where English Language Learners often stagnate after learning enough English to “get by.”
I set up this website to support a TV program that has the mission of helping English learners elevate their English proficiency. I’ve had the experience of learning a second language (Spanish), and I know how hard it can be to move into the more sophisticated levels of a language, when my current level seems to be serving me just fine. Ramping Up your English, plus the support from this website, is my creative effort to help you as you continue toward English Proficiency on this long road. I also hope to make it interesting and fun.
